Full Spectrum Light Bulb - manufacturing details cutout

BlueMax™ lamps offer
quality that is
unsurpassed!

  • SOLDERLESS PINS prolong lamp life by eliminating a common cause of failure.

  • ALIGNMENT NOTCH insures proper installation for best performance.

  • STICK CATHODE DESIGN almost doubles the life of the lamp.

  • CATHODE GUARD keeps lamps burning brighter, longer by reducing "End Blackening."

  • MERCURY CAPSULE has 43% less mercury than industry standard.

  • NEW SIX PHOSPHOR BLEND provides desirable clear white light creating a full spectrum light bulb with superior color rendering over 3 phosphor lamps.

Color Rendering and Color Temperature.

Color Rendering Index (CRI) refers to color rendition, specifically, how the color of an object appears under the artificial light source illuminating as compared to natural outdoor sunlight.

Color Temperature refers to the quality of light emanating from the artificial light source. (Represented by by the number of degrees Kelvin based on the Kelvin color temperature scale.) The color temperature of outside light varies from 5000K to 6000K depending on the time of day, weather, season and latitude. The higher the color of a fluorescent lamp, the bluer (cooler) the appearance. The lower the color temperature the redder (warmer) it's appearance.

Color rendering index and color temperature are independent of each other. It is also possible for two different lamps to have the same temperature and yet have a different color rendering index.

It is important to consider three factors when selecting a
full spectrum light bulb for a specific task.

1. Color rendering index- Range from 88 to 96
2. Color temperature
3. Lumen control

Highest in the Industry

Full Spectrum Solutions BlueMax™
The Ultimate in High Color Rendering Light.

Many lamps claim to be similar to sunlight. These curves let you see that BlueMax™ closely duplicates the sun's energy profile.

In fact BlueMax™ has more relative energy in the critical violet and blue portions of the spectrum.
