Compare to Halogen Torchieres
Operates much cooler at 130 degrees while halogen lamps operate at around 1000 degrees.
Uses much less electricity! Ultralux torchieres use 1/6th the electricity than a halogen lamp.
Bulb lasts up to 10 times longer. A Halogen lamp will usually last 1000 hours while the Ultralux bulb lasts up to 10,000 hours. [?]
Uses 91 CRI, 5500 Degree Kelvin Color Temperature Full Spectrum bulb. We also offer a warmer color option bulb, which is called the sunset bulb, for $22.50.
Dimmable electronic ballast system produces flicker-free lighting using a preventive frequency interference dimmer switch.
